My client is a specialist business managing permanent and contract business and offer an unparalleled level of insight and advice to clients and candidates alike.

I am looking for a new Senior IT Recruitment Consultant to join their already succesful team.

• To ensure that individual targets are achieved in accordance with the company business plan
• To build and develop the levels of business activity from a client and candidate perspective
• To manage the recruitment process by giving clients and candidates excellent customer service
• To adhere to company procedures and quality guidelines

1. Conducting pro-active searches on the database to locate suitable candidates for specific job specifications.
2. Business development activity by establishing and/or maintaining relationships with clients through various means of communication and support activities.
3. Managing clients and candidates via the recruitment process.
4. Significant contribution to all team meetings
5. Candidate generation through networking, head-hunting, and leads.
6. Completing all necessary databasing and administration in a timely manner
7. Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with colleagues, including other consultants and administration.
8. Providing continuous support to team members
9. Ensure all advertising deadline are met by team members
10. Continually adhering to the health, safety and quality requirement of the company, by undertaking any task necessary to ensure this.

• Responding to all candidate and client phone calls
• Achieving daily objectives
• Discussion of weekly targets with manager/director
• Obtaining client and candidate interviews
• Business development activity
• Ensure effective promotion of current jobs
• Daily planning of following days activities
• Ensure all candidates are registered on the system on the same day
• Updating spreadsheet reports on new clients etc

Self-motivated, with a mature and professional approach to recruitment, you will have a high level of business acumen, have entrepreneurial flare, be able to take 'the rough with the smooth’, and perhaps above all else, be hardworking and honest.

12 months+ experience within a recruitment/sales environment with an understanding of the lifecycle of recruitment and latest technologies.
